Ham Radio Resources

Getting your Amateur (HAM) Technicians License is easy. Really. Does it require study? Yes. YOU could EASILY study over a week and pass.

There were some things I had trouble with. But you are only going to get 1 question from each of the 35 sections. So you can skip 1 or 2 sections if they are too hard and be fine.

There is so much you can do with a Radio and a License to operate it.

Resources:

Videos: The Ham Whisperer

Audio: Ham Radio Mastery

Practice Tests: Q R Z

Testing Locations: Go to theARRL website and put in your zip code and how far you are willing to drive to test.

The results will be all the scheduled HAM license tests within your area.

After you pass your test you’ll need to get your callsign assigned to you. Once you get your call sign from the FCC you can begin talking on your radio. Search The FCC
